Właściwie to z zawodu jestem przecież anglistą, a misją każdego anglisty jest upowszechnianie kultury anglo-saskiej. W związku z tym, postanowiłem wykorzystać tego bloga jako medium szerzenia anglo-amerykańskości. Tak się składa, że zbliżają się święta, więc zacznę od piosenek świątecznych. Zacznijmy więc od tej najpopularniejszej – Last Christmas zespoły Wham, w którym wokalistą był George Michael, znany dziś z nieco innej działalności niż śpiewanie. Zespół założony został w roku moich urodzin, czyli 1981, i działał do roku 1986. Piosenka Last Christmas powstała w roku 1984. Co ciekawe, na brytyjskiej liście przebojów piosenka utrzymała się aż dwa lata! Oprócz Last Christmas, niektórzy z was mogli słyszeć też inną
